You will study towards a number of qualifications designed for you to achieve the skills for your chosen career:
Apprenticeship:
NVQ Level 2 Front of House Food and Beverage Service; Level 2 Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Principles; Functional Skills Numeracy Level 1 and Literacy Level 1.

Other: Employer Rights and Responsibilities

You may be exempt from Functional Skills if you have the appropriate GCSEs.

About this course




You will learn on the job with your employer and you course tutor will undertake regular work based assessments. Apprentices will build a portfolio of work. The Apprenticeship is for one year.

Prepare and clear areas of table service.
Serve food at a table.
Maintain and deal with customer payments.
Contribute towards effective teamwork
A Training Advisor will work with you and your employer to review your progress throughout the Apprenticeship.
Progress reports will be given to your employer by your tutors every twelve weeks.
