Description of course:

Progression opportunities and careers:
Progression opportunities include moving on to Higher Education to pursue a law or non-law degree. Potential careers include solicitor, barrister, police or prison officer, journalist or human resources. Law A level equips students for any career where clear and precise thought and application is required.

Entry requirements:
Year 1 To study for 3 AS levels a minimum of 5 GCSEs A* - C inclusive of minimum grades are required. To study for 4 AS levels a minimum of 6 GCSEs A* - C inclusive of minimum grades are required. To study for 5 AS levels a minimum of 7 GCSEs A* - C inclusive of minimum grades are required. Year 2 To progress to A2 you are required to pass the AS level in the subject you wish to progress in.

Specific entry requirements:
GCSE English at grade C or above.

Advanced Level GCE courses are very different from GCSEs. Students need to be prepared to demonstrate intellectual curiosity and willingness to work. The number of students, and the wide range of schools they come from to study at Advanced Level GCE, ensures stimulating work and discussion groups.
