Course Details

A2 sociolgy can be studied as part of the full-time A-level programme, in which students are expected to study 3 subjects. Sociology is the study of society. More specifically it is about the study of individuals and how they shape and are shaped by society. The course for the A2 include topics from the following: Beliefs in Society Global Development Mass Media Power and Politics Crime and Deviance or Stratification and Differentiation Theory and Methods Please note that the examinations take place in January or June. Therefore please do not book holidays.

Successful completion of AS Sociology, additonally a suitable reference from a previous educational institution may be required.
