Content outline
In the first (AS) year of the course (units 1 and 2) students will be introduced to two areas of liability - criminal and tort - and study important aspects of the English legal system - e.g. the legislative process, the structure of the courts, and the legal profession.
Second (A2) year of the course (units 3 and 4) students will build on this knowledge by studying criminal and tort liability in more depth. Students will also relate the knowledge gained in other parts of the course to the study of conceptual ideas such as the relationship between law and morality and how far law achieves justice.
