Access to Arts, Social Science and Primary Education (SWAP)
This course covers subjects related to Arts, Social Science and Primary Education to help adults who are seeking to return to education with a view to changing their career path or going to University.
This course is predominantly at Higher level and includes subjects such as:
French
Geography
History
Maths/Numeracy
Psychology
Sociology
English and IT.

Students are given support on the transition from Further Education in College to Higher Education at University.

Entry Requirements
Motivated adults displaying enthusiasm for a return to education who wish to progress to HNC, HND or University. Acceptance to this course is subject to interview.

Duration
1 year full-time.

Progression Routes
SWAP progression routes into Higher Education/Degree level courses at University in Primary Education, the Arts, Social Sciences, Social Work and HNC/D Social Science at Kilmarnock College as well as other HNC and HND courses within Kilmarnock College and other Further Education colleges throughout Scotland.
