Access to Hairdressing
This course will give you a taste of the hairdressing industry and allow you to decide whether a career in hairdressing is suitable for you. It is aimed at those who perhaps do not meet the entry requirements for Introduction to Hairdressing, but who eventually want to work as a hairdresser. Within the course you will cover Team Building, IT, Numeracy, Communication, Working with Others, Problem Solving, Career Options and Choices, Product Awareness, Prepare and Assist in a Work Placement Environment and Hairdressing Practical jSkills. The course will be a mixture of theory and practical hands on experience.

This programme provides limited opportunities for direct entry into the hairdressing industry. However, if you have successfully completed this programme you will be qualified to join our Introduction to Hairdressing programme which will considerably increase your opportunities to gain relevant employment.
