A Level Biology builds on concepts and skills that have been developed in the new GCSE Science specifications, presenting biology as exciting, challenging and relevant to all our lives.

• Module 3: Investigative and Practical Skills

A2 Level

• Module 4: Populations and Environment
• Module 5: Control in Cells and in Organisms
• Module 6: Investigative and Practical Skills Method of Assessment Examination, practical assessment and investigative assignment

Career Progression
AS to A2 level
A2 progression to other AS/A2 levels or Higher Education e.g. HNC/D or BSc (Hons)
Employment requiring a Level 3 qualification
