Course Description
This one year course provides basic training and skills for people looking to start a career in floristry. It is ideal as a stepping stone to the more advanced qualiïfications and will also give you valuable industrial experience. This course covers a range of wedding and funeral floral designs as well as conditioning and interior design. You will learn how to create themed arrangements for functions and will include button holes, cake decorations, garlands, wreaths, sprays and table arrangements. Work experience will form a major part of this course and the college will help to find you a work placement if necessary. You will be expected to pay for your own flowers.
