The course runs over three days a week.

Course description
This course is intended to enable students to explore a range of areas within the health services. It will provide knowledge, understanding and skills required for further education or future employment in the health and care sectors.

Course Structure
The course comprises of six units, three core and three optional units covering a wide aspect of Health & Social care and includes key skills in communication and application of number.

Course Assessment
All evidence is completed through practical written work in the form of assignments over the one year programme.

  • 4 GCSE†s grades D and above including Maths and English.

Course Costs
There are no course fees if you are under 19 years old on 31 August 2010. However, you may have to pay for textbooks, personal kits, uniforms, trips and personal stationery. You will be informed of these at your interview.
