Course Description
This is an exciting new course which looks at the science underlying Forensics. It involves a study of a wide breadth of subjects including, Chemistry, Psychology, Law and looks at how they relate to the work of a forensic scientist. The course is equivalent to three A Levels. It is a practical course where learners will be assessed by completing assignments based on work-based situations.

Career Prospects
This course will provide learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills necessary to enter a career as a science technician in areas of the laboratory and industrial science, medical science service or forensic science service
It will also provide progression to higher vocational qualifications such as the BTEC Higher National Diploma in Applied Sciences or a full-time degree in Applied Sciences or Forensic Science
