This programme is offered in partnership with the University of Greenwich. The course will provide the knowledge, skills and attributes for a career in administration and management, with the opportunity to specialise in a particular business function (subject to a sufficient number of enrolments).

Course Content:
The programme will allow you to specialise in either Marketing, Accounting or Tourism. Core units: These will be studied by students of all three specialisms:

Optional units: Subject specialisms in Marketing, including:

• Introduction to marketing
• Introduction to marketing communications
• Understanding customers

Subject specialisms in Finance, including:

• Financial accounting
• Cost accounting
• Management accounting

Subject specialisms in Tourism, including:

• Introduction to travel and tourism
• Global tourism management

Attendance Requirements:
Full-time. Details regarding expected course timetable and attendance will be given at interview, if available.

Entry Requirements:
Applicants should have the following:

• GCSE grade C or above in English, Maths or equivalent
• Two A-Levels grade D
/E minimum or equivalent
• In addition to the normal entry requirements, students for whom English is not their first language should possess an IELTS score of 6
.0, Cambridge
• Advanced Certificate in English or be able to demonstrate a comparable competence in English
• Mature applicants (those over 21 years of age at the start of the course) are welcomed and will be considered individually

Entry Process:
All applicants will be invited to an interview with the tutor, allowing you to find out more and check that the course is the best option for you. Interviews normally take place between January and September of the year in which the course starts.

Assessment:
Continuous assessment of both theory and practice that will include assignments and projects. There will also be a number of time-constrained assessments/examinations in the form of short progress tests and there will be formal end of year tests.

Progression Routes:
Successful students may progress onto the second or third year of a relevant Honours Degree, such as that offered by the University of Greenwich.

Career Options:
Employment in management or trainee management in the United Kingdom and abroad.
