Assessment/Exams
The assessment is by portfolio task for most of the units, the personal development unit is written by your tutor and also a short answer paper under examination conditions, all must receive a minimum of a pass.

Progression/Career Path
The award provides a basis for candidates to progress to other qualifications. A merit or distinction will enable progression to the CACHE Level 2 Award in Childcare and Education. Candidates could also go into employment in a childcare setting.
