Construction Introductory Diploma
This course provides an overview of the main construction crafts allowing you to decide the right area for your career. This course may also be used to gain some of the practical and technical knowledge needed to progress on to a Level 1 Diploma in one oft he three trades.

Course Content:
Subjects covered are Brickwork, Carpentry, and Painting & Decorating.

Attendance Requirements:
Full-time. Details will be given at interview.

Entry Requirements:

• GCSEs at Levels E and F or an Entry Certificate in Skills for Working Life or an equivalent qualification

• An appropriate standard of literacy and numeracy

• A successful interview

Entry Process:
All applicants will be invited to an interview with the tutor, allowing you to find out more and check that the course is the best option for you. Interviews normally take place between January and September of the year in which the course starts.

Progression Routes:
Upon successful completion students may be able to progress onto a Level 1 Diploma in Bricklaying, Carpentry or Painting & Decorating.
