Electronics - AS & A Level
This course is suitable for those who have a keen interest in science and enjoy analysing, problem solving and creating systems. What will I need to follow the course?

What will I study?
You will study electronic systems and their applications. You will also develop practical skills in the laboratory.
Will I have to sit any examinations?
There will be an examination in January and at the end of the year. You will also be assessed on project work.
What will I have at the end of the course?
On successful completion of the course, you will be awarded an AS certificate in Electronics. You can study the subject for another year and gain an A level qualification.
What next?
You will then be able to follow a degree course at university. Some of our former Electronics students have studied for degrees in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Science and Computers.
