This is a practical, work related course and will give you the technical knowledge to study for a National Diploma or National Certificate. You will learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations. The course content includes applied science, working practices, electronic fundamentals, digital networks, PC configuration, circuit construction, and telecommunications

Progression:
National Diploma or National Certificate. If you want to follow the modern apprenticeship route you can study the BTEC National Certificate and SEMTA NVQ level 2 Performing Engineering Operations.

Entry Requirements:
Three GCSEs at grade C or above in mathematics, science, english or appropriate subjects, or at the discretion of the course team.
