Designed to provide opportunities to gain qualifications in General English for learners from Basic to Intermediate level.
Course Content:
General and specialised English for all speakers of other languages
Assessment:
Continuous, SQA ESOL exams
Duration:
Community ESOL Classes run in three terms from August to mid-June, with two 2-week vacations over Christmas and Easter, plus the October and February week break
Most classes run for 2 hours; timings vary from centre to centre
Attendance:
Part-time: over three terms
