This course is for those who wish to choose a career in the Fabrication and Welding industry. It is an excellent starting platform and will give you a good grounding in practical and theory aspects of the industry. The course includes practical units in MMA, MIG, and TIG welding processes and various fabrication units

The course includes:
Mandatory Core (3 Credits): Communications Core Skill unit, Mathematics: Craft 1, Engineering: Using Information Technology.

Restricted Core 5 Units: Fabrication Processes, Welding Processes, Health and Safety: Engineering plus four optional Credits and various other units as required.

Further Study/Employment
This course will give you a good underpinning knowledge of the Fabrication and Welding industry and could lead to employment in this area.This course can also lead to the HNC in Fabrication, Welding and Inspection.
