Course Description
AS Geography investigates physical environments, which include climate change, tectonics and hydrology, and human environments, which include population and settlement change. A2 takes an enquiry approach to contemporary themes and research in both physical and human Geography. It also covers sustainability in decision-making through the themes of food, water, energy and cities.

Career Prospects
Geography brings together a number of important skills, and is useful for any career which involves maps, data, decision making and knowledge of the environment
Geographers can progress to a wide range of careers including: planning, civil service, environmental and resource management, research & teaching
