HNC Electronics
This course is designed to enhance the employment prospects of individuals who are seeking employment within an Electronic Engineering discipline. It is a nationally recognised qualification that will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge that is necessary to work in a modern electronic engineering environment. Emphasis is placed in the use of software tools to simulate and design electronic circuits and systems.

Course Content:
Communications: Practical Skills, Mathematics for Engineering, Single Phase AC Circuits, Analogue Electronic Principles, Combinational Logic, Sequential Logic, Electronic Testing Skills, Electronic Construction Skiils, MCU/MPU Assembly Language Programming, Information Technology and and Electronics Graded Unit.

SCQF Level: 7

Entry Requirements:
Candidates should have completed the NC Electronics and have a minimum Intermediate 2 Maths or relevant experience within the electronics industry.

Full-Time

Progression To
On completion of this course students are able to progress onto an HND course or enter into first of second year at University.

Career opportunities exist for students at a technical level in associated areas of the electronics industry. Also allows progression to engineer level with further study.
