HNC Health Care
The HNC in Health Care aims to provide knowledge and skills for those wishing to pursue a career in nursing or health related areas. Placement experience will provide the learner with the opportunity to develop practical skills to complement the theoretical components of the course.

Course Content:
Subjects include: Physiology for Health Care Professionals, Physiology of the Reproductive System, Principles of Health Care Practice, Health Care Policy, Psychology and Sociology in Health Care, Health Care Practice Experience, Calculations and Practical Techniques in Health Care, Positive Health Care for Individuals, Heath Care : Graded Unit.

Full-Time.

Progression To:
Possible direct articulation to 2nd year of BSc Health Sciences at University of the West of Scotland. Successful candidates over 21 years of age can apply for first year Diploma in Adult or Mental Health Nursing at Napier University. All successful candidates can apply for a Diploma in Higher Education in Adult or Mental Health Nursing.
