About this course

Learners should be at least 18 years of age and possess one of the following
1 A Level pass and 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above
BTEC National Diploma/Certificate, Advanced GNVQ or AVCE in Performing Arts
Mature learners without standard qualifications will be considered.
Applicants are also expected to demonstrate a performance level equivalent to Grade 8 in their mainstudy instrument.

This course is designed to produce graduates who are seen as creative professionals with the ability to market and present their work in the widest context in the popular music industry as performers, administrators and technicians. The HND can also be upgraded at several music colleges/universities including the University of Glamorgan to full degree status.
