Hospitality Management BA
The course aims to develop capability in technical, supervisory and managerial aspects of the hospitality industry. The course provides you with both the academic and vocational skills necessary to build a professional career in the hospitality industry. It takes a multi-disciplinary approach to the management of hospitality products and services and encourages you to develop a strategic approach to the ever changing business, economic and social demands placed on the industry.

You will undertake units in: Research Methods, Strategic Planning and Change Management, Workplace Management Project, Customer Focus and Relations, Corporate Human Resource Management.

Course work is assessed at the end of each of the two semesters by a variety of methods including: reports, portfolios, presentations, logbooks, learning contracts and examination.

Further Study/Employment
After successful completion of this course you may progress to an honours degree or to full time employment within the industry.
