IT Diploma in Digital Applications (DIDA) (Level 1 - 2)
Course Content
This is a highly practical one-year IT course that introduces the student to the world of commercial computer usage.
The focus of the studies is on the application of software to achieve genuine business objectives, helping students understand how computers are used within the workplace.
There are four units:

• Using ICT;
• Multimedia;
• Graphics;
• ICT in Enterprise.

Teaching/Assessment
The assessment of the course is through electronic portfolio based assignments developed throughout the year.
Progression
Successful completion of this course enables students to progress to the BTEC First Diploma IT Practitioners, or a modern apprenticeship in Business Administration or IT.
Students completing this course could enter the workplace in any sector where office IT skills are required.
