About this course

Four GCSEs at grade C, ideally, including maths and English or a BTEC First Diploma, a GNVQ Intermediate or DiDA Level 2, or alternatively, a qualification, such as Using IT NVQ Level 2. Adult students with vocational experience, but without formal qualifications will also be considered subject to assessment.

Course Content:
This course covers:
· Business
· Software Development and Applications
· Programming
· Technical Aspects of Computers and Computer Systems, including the Internet.
The course will also develop personal skills, numeracy, communication and problem
solving. In your second year of the course, you will have the choice to specialise in business networking software or systems support.
Assessment:
A mixture of assessment throughout the course.

Employment, full-time HND in Computing, part-time HNC or other Higher Education.
