INTRODUCTORY DIPLOMA BUSINESS & ICT

This full-time vocational course has been developed for students wishing to work in the fields of business and ICT but have not yet achieved the entry requirements for our higher level courses.

Length of Course
One year full time.

What qualifications do I need to study on the course?
This course is suitable for students with mainly D/E grades including either an E in English or Entry Level 3 certificate and literacy level 1.

What will I study?
You'll be introduced to business and ICT, develop teamwork skills and undertake some career planning. You will complete 7 units as well as a work placement. Topics include Customer Service, Financial Management, Personal Effectiveness and Communicating effectively at work.

Method of assessment
You will be assessed by written and practical projects.

What will I be able to progress to?
This course can lead to employment, training or higher level courses.
