This programme is designed to develop the knowledge, understanding and practical skills required at operational level in the Care sector.

Physical Care

Work experience is an essential element of this qualification and placements will be with a number of health care organisations such as community settings, hospital wards and day centres.

Entry Requirements
Four GCSEs at Grade D or above, or BTEC Level 1 in a related subject at Merit level.

Progression
Successful completion of this programme can lead to progression onto the National Diploma in Health Studies. Alternatively, learners can enter employment in areas such as Care Homes, Community Work, Hospitals and the Housing Sector.
