BTEC Level 2 Business, Travel and Tourism
This is a practical, work related course. Students learn by completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations. Assignments are usually internally set and assessed - there are no external examinations on this course. Students will be given the opportunity to go on field trips and visits. Previous visits have included Alton Towers, London, Cadbury World and Disneyland Paris.

What will I be studying?
A BTEC First Diploma in Business and a BTEC First Certificate in Travel and Tourism. You will study units on:

Business: Exploring Business Purposes; Developing Customer Relations; Investigating Financial Control; Business Communication; Personal Selling; Enterprise.

Travel and Tourism: The Travel and Tourism Industry; Customer Service; UK Travel and Tourism Destinations.

Key Skills:Improving own Learning; Application of Number and IT.

What can I do when I have successfully completed the programme?
You will be able to progress onto a Level 3 Business / Travel and Tourism course; AS/A Levels or seek employment in a business/tourism related industry.
