About this course
You will need for GCSEs at grades C or above including English Language or an equivalent vocational qualification such as BTEC First Diploma in Media. Mature students will be considered on the basis of relevant ability and experience. Applicants are required to bring examples of their own work to an interview to demonstrate an interest in the subject.

The theoretical elements of the course will include analysing media products and finding out how the industry works. Specialist staff and regular tutorials will help you decide on your career path.

This course is a combination of internally assessed assignments and a final major project.
Progression
This course is equivalent to three A levels and allows you to progress to higher education. Some students will gain junior positions in the media industry and others will seek employment, such as management trainee positions.
