Content This one year course is aimed at 19+ students who wish to become occupationally competent to gain employment in the hairdressing industry. The course covers a range of practical skills and theoretical knowledge relevant to hairdressing. Subjects to be covered: Shampooing and Conditioning, Blow Drying, Setting, Colouring, Perming, Cutting, Customer Service, Working with Others and Health and Safety. Work placement is an essential part of the course.

Assessment Students are assessed by several methods including assignments, tasks and practical observation.
