Steps 2 Work Course Content:
This course is designed for young people with additional support needs. It promotes confidence, responsibility and independence as well as developing employability skills.
Students must undertake classes in Communication, Numeracy, Guidance and Work Experience.
There are also opportunities for students to study in other college departments : Office Skills, Hairdressing and Beauty, Catering, Auto Engineering, Painting and Decorating, Child Care, Social Care, Sport and Recreation, Radio Production, Music / DJ Skills, Video Drama, Construction Trades
This is a vocational course and students must undertake a 3 day per week work placement, with the appropriate level of support.
Entry Requirements:
