Description:
This course is aimed at school leavers with a genuine interest in automotive engineering. The qualification consists of nine units: three core units, three specialist units and three key skills units. The core units consist of essential working practices, vehicle & engine systems and fault diagnosis. One of the core units is externally assessed, as are the key skills units, whilst the remainder of the units are continually assessed via a combination of coursework and written tests.
