Vocational Access Course (Entry Level)
Course Content
This one-year course supports students who may want to progress onto Foundation or Level 1 courses in vocational areas in the college.
The course provides tasters into some vocational areas within the college.

Teaching/Assessment
Students will be given the opportunity to improve their skills. There is a focus on developing literacy and numeracy and also the skills required for work, such as team building and working with others.
There is an element of work experience and students will be expected to be committed to this.
Progression
Once students have achieved the Entry Level 3 qualification they can apply to Foundation and Level 1 programmes in the range of vocational areas within the college. They may also wish to progress to skill build and employment opportunities.
