This course provides good progression on to level 2 courses. It is aimed at those with less than 2D;s at GCSE. The course will also involve the study of key skills.

Students will also achieve the new Welsh Baccalaureate qualification.
Career Prospects and Progression

Students who successfully complete the course may progress to Edexcel level 2 programmes or NVQ Level 2 programmes within the college. Those entering employment may gain supervised positions in the workplace.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements but a reasonable standard of literacy is required to complete the course. The course is aimed at students who have achieved good results in their CoEA courses or who have achieved Grades E - G at GCSE.
