The course is designed for those who have completed level 2 in furniture making or have good hand and machining skills. It’s centred the restoration of a range of antiques and 2Oc furniture which can be provided by the college or with approval you can supply. While restoring these items you will cover furniture assessment, repair and replacement of parts and colouring. You will also cover furniture design and look at the British history of furniture design and wood finishing.
