Is this course for me?
This course is for adults with learning difficulties who are
interested in floristry and who are keen on developing practical
life skills and work skills.
What will I study?
This course uses Posyganza (a business providing a fresh flower
service) to teach skills in floristry and retail. You will gain
practical work and life skills through working with flowers. The
course is delivered through the running of the Posyganza business
in a real-life working environment.

What can I do next?
This can lead to other courses at the College or routes into
work. Tutors are happy to help with career progression.
What are the entry requirements?
You will need a desire to continue your development of social
skills, work skills and independent living skills. It is important
that applicants also enjoy working with flowers and may want to
look at working in floristry in the future.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is carried out by the tutors. You also meet regularly
with tutors to help plan studies and to discuss progress.
Additional support, help and guidance are also available from the
College Guidance Team.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
