Are you interested in learning more about structured products such as futures and options? Financial derivatives are playing an increasingly important role and in some markets, they have become the driving force behind movements cash markets. If you would like to explore this aspect of finance, this is the course for you.
Participants will begin with the "arbitrage triangle" - (cash, futures and forwards and options) and will then explore cash-based structured products such as FRNs and several different types of bonds and swaps.
The course will get into the specifics of trading futures and options and will also cover margining. By the end of the seminar, participants will have learned the history of the market (such as the role of the clearing house) and will feel comfortable with the industry terms related to futures, options and margining.
This course has been available as a public training programme in many countries around the world in particular in London, Frankfurt and Singapore. It has also been available as an in-house programme in emerging markets.
