Description:
This course will help you to plan and design gardens and is ideal if your ambition is to design gardens professionally. The main modules are:

· site analysis and survey
· garden design history
· drawing skills
· design concepts
· the design process
· plant use and association
· research methods
· beyond drawing - an introduction to digital imaging.

The course is taught through group and practical sessions and some visits to real gardens may take place. You will build a portfolio of work that could help you gain employment or a place on a further education course.

A keen interest in gardening and/or garden design.
