The course will cover gas legislation; tightness testing and purging; combustion; pressure and gas rates; ventilation; pipe work; controls; flues; analysers; and unsafe situations. The assessment is in two parts over two days. Theory consists of seven papers (six open book, one closed book). Additional information

You will be assessed against national recognised standards in a controlled environment. You will be allocated your own assessment bay and all reading material required for your assessment. The reading material will predominantly be British Standards. These documents will support you in enabling you to reference them whilst your assessor oversees your core gas safety assessment.
