26 weeks (1 day per week) for off-the-job training, along with on-the-job portfolio building (70 hrs) in between College attendance. Start date to be confirmed.

Course programme

This programme is suitable for Category 2 and Category 3 applicants who are taking their first steps into the gas industry. The programme is designed for people who do not have relevant related qualifications and/or experience and are entering employment for the first time or changing career.
CITB Intermediate Gas Certificate + CCN1 (core gas safety) including CPA1 and CENWAT1 (central heating boilers/water heaters).
You will learn through a mixture of on-site, workshop and classroom-based study. You will be assessed on your theoretical knowledge and practical skills at our assessment centre by industry approved assessors.
