Safely use arc welding equipment - Produce finished welded joints to an acceptable standard i.e. BS4872 - Select correct welding equipment settings - Recognise and select correct welding consumables - Recognise weld associated faults and make suitable corrections where applicable. Suitable for: Suitable for Maintenance Staff and Core Skill Welders. We can also provide courses for those who would like to progress into Welding.

Course programme

Our welding training focuses on developing practical welding capability such that trainees achieve a consistent standard. The courses provide an intense but comprehensive course of welding instruction for those with some or minimal welding experience. They are designed to promote practical welding proficiency and provide trainees with a sound theoretical understanding of the process.

Our welding bay is fully ventilated with local and area extraction. On completion of the course trainees will be expected to be able to produce finished welded joints to an acceptable standard i.e. in accordance with BS4872. (BS4872 Certification £100 + VAT)
