On completion of the training successful candidates should be able to: 1. Appreciate the principles of confined space working. 2.Have an understanding of the legal obligations of the Confined Spaces Regulations 1997 and associated legislation. 3.Complete a practical exercise using appropriate equipment. 4.Correctly don the MSA Auer SavOx in an emergency. 5.Understand the operating principles of MSA Auer SavOx & the requirements for wearing it. 6.Understand how to use other personal equipment for accessing confined spaces. Suitable for: This course is designed specifically for those personnel who are assessing confind spaces and those who may enter or work within a confined space as a working party. To enable candidates to understand and operate the MSA Auer SavOx Oxygen Self Rescuer. To understand the legal obligations under The Confined Space Regulations 2007

About this course
Candidates must bring with them fire retardant coveralls, safety footwear, gloves, hard hat, protective eyewear, hi-vis waistcoat or jacket. Candidates must also read, agree to and sign a confined space medical questionnaire before the start of the course.
