I have been working as an online tutor assessor since 2002 mainly working with teachers, assessors and quality assurance professionals to help them gain their altered qualifications. I am a former school teacher with a BA Hons, PGCE in service qualification and I also have a Masters in Education my main focus being cloud based learning.

Course programme

Collaborate with peers, demonstrate new skills, and earn new credentials to support your professional development. This program may take six (6) to twelve (12) months to complete.

COMPLETION OF THE GLOBAL TEACHER CERTIFICATION
Following the successful completion of each module in the Certification Program, the participant will be awarded CEU’s as well as a badge. The CEU’s and badges will be shown in the participant’s GlobalED portfolio and can be used to inform employers of progress toward the certificate. Once the participant successfully completes all six modules, the GlobalED Foundation Teacher Certification will be awarded.

The GlobalED Foundation Teacher Certificate is one of several teacher preparations options that lead to classroom teaching. Generally, teacher preparation is separated into three distinct route types - teacher preparation programs (4-year college degree with a concentration in Education), certificate reciprocity (current valid teacher certificate awarded by other states or organizations), and alternative routes (GlobalED Foundation).

Public School Districts and Independent Private Schools have varying requirements for teacher preparation. Participants in the GlobalED Foundation Teacher Certificate Program are encouraged to review the requirements of the school or school district for which they intend to teach, and to secure appropriate teaching credentials.
