Introduction

Year 11 pupils can choose to study Home Economics, Hospitality or Child Development. Home Economics and Child Development have for many years proved to be popular choices with pupils and the pass rate at GCSE has been very good. Hospitality is a new GCSE, which has a very practical base as well as being closely linked to the world of work. Within all subjects there is a practical input including outside speakers and visits to local relevant organisations and establishments.
