Course programme

This course covers all the elements required for GCSE and will include speaking, reading, writing and listening.

Core content

  • Extensive practice at examination papers & exemplar questions

The course will focus on these core areas:

  • A major emphasis will be placed on the spoken element - role play andinterviews, to improve skills and confidence whilst using the language.The speaking exam is worth 25% of the total mark.
  • Revision of grammar with notes to reinforce key points
  • Revision of instructions both verbal and written
  • Listening, reading and writing exercises will be carried out to help developskills and confidence in these areas
