The general affairs officer acts as a support to the customer assistance office, taking care of answering the switchboard and managing any electronic communications, such as e-mails or messages sent via social networks. For the company it is necessary to find collaborators with an excellent knowledge of the main IT packages and, in the case of companies present on the international scene, with language skills appropriate to the reference business. At the same time as managing the switchboard, the general affairs office also arranges for the sorting of mail and for forwarding it to the different departments; a task that requires precision, discretion and timeliness, so that communications arrive on time and in the hands of those directly involved. To fill this role it is essential to be a meticulous and tidy person, capable of guaranteeing the correct organization of sending and receiving letters and small parcels. One of the main duties of the general affairs clerk is welcoming customers and suppliers within the company.
