Course content:

This comprehensive course is specifically designed for career changers and new entrants to the plumbing industry. It gives you everything you need to take the first steps in changing career to plumbing. You do not need any experience as the course will give you the industry recognised City & Guilds plumbing qualifications, in addition to all the technical knowledge and practical skills you need to become a successful domestic plumber.

The following outlines the course content and type of work you will confidently be able to do as a plumber when you graduate:

•Full bathroom installation •Shower installation •Common maintenance tasks including showers, taps & valves •Full installation of hot water cylinders •All forms of pipe-work •Installing radiators •Plastic and waste pipe installation •Full understanding of modern day plumbing systems •Business and marketing skills •Bpec Water Regulations Course and qualification •CSCS card giving you access to construction sites Also included within this career change package are modules on how to set up a business or, if you are looking for employment, interview, presentation skills and how to find work. While the City & Guilds qualification is seen as the foundation of a career, modern day plumbing requires additional skills, so we have included bonus modules on shower installation, radiator systems and job estimating.

You will benefit from extensive workshop training alongside classroom tuition and, when you leave, a subscription based technical helpline giving you on-going support from our expert, in-house plumbers.
