This course is about human life. We'll show you how to apply geographical concepts and skills to real-world problems in politics, culture, economics and social relations. You'll also learn how to evaluate solutions and policies proposed by others.
In the first year, about half the course is made up of compulsory modules in human geography. You will also get skills training.
The second and third years are a mix of compulsory and optional modules. Third year options include international field class modules. You can broaden your knowledge with modules in physical geography.
Throughout the course, you're free to take one module each semester in another department. You could use this time to learn a language or study a related subject such as politics or economics.
This course is accredited by the Royal Geographical Society.
