The course aims to enable students to communicate with some fluency in a range of everyday situations. This is a fast track course. Therefore homework (2 hours/ week) is essential for this course.

About this course
-use numbers and the alphabet
-greet others, introduce yourself and give personal information (address, age, profession, study, nationality)
-speak about leisure pursuits, state likes and dislikes and say how often you do things
-speak about family relationships
-identify places in a town or city, ask for directions and talk about traveling around town
-order food in a café and ask/give prices
-book a hotel room,tell the time and days of the week
-make an appointment and arrange to meet
-talk about daily routines and events in the past and make appointments
-have a basic knowledge of personal pronouns, possessive adjectives, genders and articles, plurals, the accusative and dative, verb endings, irregular verbs, separable verbs, modal verbs (können and müssen) and the past.
