Google World Workshop

“If you think about it, all the world’s information includes personal information. Personal information is held in online word processing, online spreadsheets, online calendar, online email. If we can unify those in a way that’s new and make them shareable … We think it has a really big impact on end users.”

Google is without doubt the website of choice when people search the Internet. Google World will take you on a tour of both the top Google tools and some which could be considered to be Google’s “best-kept secrets”. Google has said that, “it would be better for you to have all the data and all the applications that you use on a server somewhere, and then whatever computer or device you’re near you would be able to use.” Google World strives to show people how they can achieve this.

What Is Google World?
Google World is a 1-day hands-on course which is designed to explain the benefits of the tools and, where possible, to let you explore these tools yourselves. We will also discuss the merits of each and also look at the benefits and issues of setting each up. The key applications that will be covered are Google Search, AdWords, Analytics, Google Docs and Spreadsheets, Google RSS, Feedburner and YouTube.
