This is a stimulating course addressing issues from our everyday lives. Decisions made at local, national and European level affect us all. Government and Politics is not just an academic discipline but a course which will equip you with the knowledge and skills required to play a full part in the political process. You will develop the important qualities of independent thinking and evaluation of rival views, as well as clear thinking and writing.

All units are assessed by written examination, and there is no coursework element.

What do I need to study this subject?
You should have five GCSE grades A*-C, including grade A*-B in English Language.
